When growth starts to feel heavy, pay attention

Today I want to share something I’ve been noticing more and more lately.
Growth starts to feel heavier at a certain stage.
Not because something is wrong.
And not because you’re doing less.
It feels heavier because the business has outgrown the way it was built.
What once worked through effort and instinct starts asking for structure.
Decisions carry more weight.
Momentum becomes harder to force.
Most founders misread this moment.
They assume they need more pressure.
They don’t.
They need alignment.
When the business no longer matches the size of the responsibility, everything feels heavier than it should.
That’s not a failure.
It’s a signal.
I see this pattern constantly inside growing companies.
Nothing is broken.
The system just hasn’t caught up yet.
When alignment is restored, the weight lifts quickly.
Clarity returns.
Decisions simplify.
Progress stops feeling like resistance.
If growth has felt heavier lately, pay attention.
That sensation usually arrives right before a necessary rebuild.
More soon.
